[SENSHI] Sailor Jupiter.

Makoto Kino became infatuated with Crane Game Joe, and followed him around after Zoisite attacked him. Once Joe turned into a Great Youma, Luna gave Makoto a Henshin Pen. She transformed into Sailor Jupiter and shocked the monster with Supreme Thunder.

The Inner Senshi had acquired another powerhouse member. Not only was Jupiter physically strong, her electrical attacks sometimes destroyed monsters without the assistance of Sailor Moon. In episode 45, Jupiter was the first victim of the DD Girls. They captured and electrocuted her. However, Jupiter charged her own powers to an incredible level and caused a huge explosion. She died from the ordeal, but took two youma with her. In episode 50, a cardian pounced on Sailor Moon. Jupiter woke up and annihilated the creature all on her own. After a daimon humiliated her, Makoto went for training in episode 105. Another daimon showed up and knocked Moon’s rod out of her hand. Jupiter focused her energy and took the enemy out with her Sparkling Wide Pressure.

Sailor Jupiter was never one to back down from hand-to-hand combat. The evil Endymion captured most of the former Rainbow Crystal hosts in episode 41, and was after Ami’s friend Ryo. Jupiter distracted Endymion with some punches. It didn’t affect him, and he fought back with superior skill. The Death Busters sought out Makoto’s pure heart crystal in episode 96. Haruka and Michiru stayed close to her for their own reasons. Makoto, already seduced by Haruka’s charm, was angry at Sailor Uranus after the enemy was dealt with. She disliked her and Neptune’s opportunistic behavior, and charged at Uranus. Jupiter took a hit in the stomach, but she managed to cut Uranus’ hand. As Uranus fled with Neptune, she commented on how strong Jupiter was.

Nehelenia was released from her prison, and she went after the White Moon family in early Sailor Stars. Usagi was placed under hypnosis so that she’d forget about saving Mamoru. Jupiter found Usagi and tried to wake her from her trance. Nehelenia’s minion blasted Jupiter over and over. The senshi used her own body as a shield so the princess wasn’t hurt. Unable to endure any more pain, Jupiter collapsed. Her rose earring fell off, and it reminded Usagi of Tuxedo Mask’s roses. The magic wore off and Usagi was free.

The Inner Senshi sacrificed their star seeds in episode 196 to protect the Starlights from Galaxia. Jupiter told the trio to guard both Usagi and the Earth. Once Galaxia was stopped, Jupiter returned along with the other senshi.

Sailor Jupiter’s solid choker, pleated skirt, high ankle boots and sailor collar were all green. The collar had two joined stripes. The chest and back bows were pink, and the front was topped with a plain green, circular brooch. Around the top of her elbow length gloves were three green rings. Her shoulder pads connected to the bust section, and the skirt and back bow attached to a white, padded hip roll at the waist. Jupiter wore pink rose shaped earrings, and the jewel in her tiara was green.

In SuperS, Makoto was given a Crystal Change Rod. With it, she became Super Sailor Jupiter. The main differences to her costume were a longer back bow, a green heart shaped chest brooch, a single stripe on her collar, one translucent sleeve on each shoulder pad and a gold star on the choker.

I love this girl so damn much. Epic badass who will protect at any cost with a wonderful, warm and supportive personality.

What’s that tag Mer uses? “Forever girl”? YES.

Sailor Jupiter was my favorite. At first it was just because her main color was green (look, I was like 11, maybe younger, at the time; excuse me for being shallow XD), but then I realized that she was also awesome, and I identified with her a lot.

Clearly green is the color of badasses.
